K-State Football Arrives in Arizona
While this weekend's bowl game against the Michigan Wolverines isn't until Saturday evening, yesterday, today and the next few days leading up to the game will be anything but boring for the Wildcats.
From snowy weather in Manhattan to the Arizona sunshine, upon arrival yesterday afternoon K-State was welcomed to by members of the media before heading off to an afternoon practice at Corona Del Sol High School.
Once the practice ended, K-State checked into its hotel, gathered for a team meeting and then had a little time to kick back and relax before heading off to watch the NBA's Phoenix Suns take on the Los Angeles Lakers at the US Airways Center.
After an exciting game in which the Suns beat the Lakers 117-90, it was back to the hotel for the busy football team.
Today, K-State will have the opportunity to sleep in a little bit before heading off to team meetings and an afternoon practice.
But Christmas Eve won't be all work for these guys as the Wildcats will attend a special team dinner at Scottsdale's Fago de Chao.
