Kansas State Head Coach and Player Quotes

Head Coach Mike Dibbini
On what you learned about this team throughout preseason and exhibition…
"They're making my job a little bit more difficult because we do have a larger roster and they are all stepping up at the right time and competing. Every time I think that we have separated ourselves and figured out the rosters, I'm learning a lot about the players and I think they are getting more comfortable and more confident in their playing."

On the third goal…
"The buildup was great and the first shot was great but like I tell my players we have to win the first ball and the second ball. Jaclyn did a good job with anticipating and basically framing the goal."

On your expectations...
"It's always going to stay the same. Each opponent is going to determine something different for us, we are going to learn a lot this year. We are going to have some days where we have growing pains and it's going to be a process. Each team is going to bring something different in difficulty and we just have to adjust and adapt."

On substitutions…
"As soon as we started subbing they kept lifting us and the momentum didn't change and I enjoyed watching them. It was a good opportunity for me to look at other players that didn't travel with us in the past and especially when we were winding down with preseason. I wanted to get some players in and on the field to give me a better idea and sense about what they're doing."

Sophomore Forward Tatum Wagner
