K-State’s Game vs. TCU to Kick at 6:30 p.m. on FOX

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Big 12 Conference and Kansas State officials have been notified by the league’s television partners that K-State’s game this Saturday, October 10, against third-ranked TCU will kick off at 6:30 p.m., and be televised nationally by FOX.

It is the first time this season K-State will play on FOX and the third time in the last four years the network will televise the K-State vs. TCU game. K-State won at TCU, 23-10, in 2012 but fell last year in Fort Worth, 41-20. K-State holds a 13-7 record all-time on FOX.

Standing-room only tickets are available for the game against the Horned Frogs and those tickets may be purchased by contacting the K-State Athletics Ticket office online at www.k-statesports.com, by phone at 1-800-221-CATS or at the main ticket office inside Bramlage Coliseum. For other reserved seating options, fans are encouraged to visit Vivid Seats, the official ticket reseller of K-State Athletics.  Fans can contact Vivid Seats at www.vividseats.com/k-state or by calling 1-866-848-8499.

The game time for Kansas State’s October 17 home game against Oklahoma will be announced on Monday unless the television networks utilize their second of a potential four six-day picks during the 2014 season.
