K-State Soccer to Host Two Scrimmages

MANHATTAN, Kan. – In its preparations for the inaugural season, K-State soccer will host two scrimmages in August. Admission to the scrimmages will be free and the gates to the K-State Soccer Complex, located next to Tointon Family Stadium, will open an hour before the matches.

The Wildcats will hold a Purple/White scrimmage on Saturday, August 6 and will welcome in Washburn on Tuesday, August 16. Both scrimmages are scheduled for a 7 p.m., start.

Head coach Mike Dibbini enters the program’s first season with 35 players on the roster, led by team captains: redshirt sophomore Kim Braddock (forward/midfielder), junior Miranda Larkin (goalkeeper) and redshirt sophomore Hali Sutter (defender). The Wildcats will play 16 regular season matches this season, including four home matches.
