K-State Sports Network Announces Affiliate List, Bill Snyder Show Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The K-State Sports Network, a property of Learfield Sports, announced Tuesday its 36-station affiliate list for the 2016 football season and dates for the Bill Snyder Radio Show, which begins next Wednesday, August 31.

The affiliates list for the upcoming season largely remains unchanged from 2015 with the exception of the Topeka market, which will be carry the games on WIBW (580 AM, 94.5 FM) for the first time in over a decade. The complete affiliates list can be found here and is listed below.

The first Bill Snyder Radio Show Presented by Manhattan Town Center will begin with a special Wednesday-night episode on August 31. The remainder of the shows will take place on Thursdays throughout the remainder of the season with the final show taking place on Thursday, December 1. However, the show will not air on two dates later in the season, November 10 (bye week) and November 24 (Thanksgiving). Each show, which begins at 7 p.m., originates from the Steel & Pipe Team Theatre of the Vanier Family Football Complex.

Details about the Bill Snyder Preseason Special and weekly Bill Snyder TV Shows will be announced later in the week.

K-State opens the 2016 football season next Friday, Sept. 2, at seventh-ranked Stanford in a game that will shown to a national audience on FS1, beginning at 8 p.m. (CT). Following a bye week in which Bill Snyder Family Stadium will host the Wildcat Kickoff music festival featuring Zach Brown Band and Train, the Wildcats open their home slate against Florida Atlantic at 1:30 p.m., on Sept. 17.

Ticket availability for the Missouri State (September 24) and Texas (October 22) games is down to scattered singles and standing room only, while the Kansas game on November 26 is down to fewer than 100 contiguous seats. Wildcat 4 Packs, which include four reserved tickets, are still available for K-State’s other four home games and are only $99 for FAU (September 17), $149 for Texas Tech (October 8) and Kansas (November 26), and $199 for Oklahoma State (November 5).
