K-State Women’s Soccer to Host Summer Camps

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State women’s soccer and head coach Mike Dibbini will host five camps this summer for a variety of age groups and experience levels. The camps will be offered throughout the summer and will feature guidance from the K-State women’s soccer coaching staff.
 
Camps are open to any and all registrants that fall into each camps specified age group. The K-State women’s soccer camps will look to improve each campers’ skill level and knowledge of the game but develop concepts that each camper can take with them to their club or high school team. Each camper will be challenged in areas such as: technique, decision making and specific position training.
 
K-State will host two Elite ID Camps this summer in Overland Park and Manhattan. The first Elite ID camp will be on June 29-30 in Overland Park, Kansas at Blue Valley Southwest High School. The cost of the Elite ID Camp is $105 per camper and each camper will receive a K-State Soccer t-shirt and a parent question and answer session.

The second Elite ID camp will be in Manhattan on July 14-16 at Memorial Stadium on the K-State campus. The cost of the Elite ID Camp in Manhattan is $450 per residential camper and $350 for commuter campers. The residential campers will receive: a two-night stay in a K-State residential hall and six meals, a K-State Soccer t-shirt and a parent question and answer session. The commuter attendees will receive four meals, a K-State Soccer t-shirt and a parent question and answer session.

The Elite ID camps are for girls ages 12 and older and will feature the following: technical/tactical/small sided games, active dynamic warm-up each day, matrix small sided tournament and 11v11 competition at the end of each day. Goalkeepers will be guided by a licensed goalkeeper coach at every camp.
 
In addition to the Elite ID Camps, K-State will offer a trio of Youth Camps in Wichita, Overland Park and Manhattan. The first Youth Camp will be conducted on June 28-29 in Wichita at the Wichita State Intramural Fields, the second on June 30-July 1 in Overland Park at Blue Valley Southwest High School and the final camp on July 16-17 in Manhattan at Memorial Stadium on the K-State campus. The Wichita Youth Camp is available to boys and girls ages 14 and under and will feature two sessions on both days. Goalkeepers will be guided by a licensed goalkeeper coach at every camp.

The Overland Park and Manhattan Youth Camps are available to boys and girls ages 11 and under and will feature two sessions on both days. Goalkeepers will be guided by a licensed goalkeeper coach at every camp.
 
The cost of the Youth Camps is $85 per camper and each camper will receive a K-State Soccer t-shirt.
