Be sure and secure your seat at Bill Snyder Family Stadium for the 2015 season opener, in addition to our other six home games, and be a part of this special recognition.  A limited number of single-game tickets for the 2015 season go on sale online only at www.k-statesports.com/tickets on June 22, while fans can purchase by calling the ticket office at 1-800-221-CATS beginning June 24.Here are a few more updates from around the department, which include four new Big 12 track champions and the return of a former staffer to lead our development efforts.Track and Field/Rowing Have Solid Big 12 Championship ShowingsCoach Rovelto's track and field squad brought home four more individual Big 12 titles from last weekend's outdoor championships - Sara Savatovic (hammer throw), Dani Winters (shot put), Kim Williamson (high jump) and Ifeanyichukwu Otuonye (long jump) - while the women's team came home with a second-place team finish, giving it runner-up spots at both the indoor and outdoor championships this season.  Congrats to both of our teams on great performances, and click here for a full recap.  Also, kudos to Christoff Bryan and A'Keyla Mitchell on being named Big 12 Freshmen of the Year just a few moments ago as the Wildcats sweep both categories.  Meanwhile, Coach Sweeney and the rowing team raced to the third place finish at the Big 12 Championships last weekend in Tennessee and conclude the season with another successful campaign on the water.  You can click here for a recap of their weekend.Hamor Returns to Lead Ahearn Fund and Development EffortsYesterday we announced that Andrew Hamor will be returning home to K-State as our new Associate Athletics Director for Development and will begin his new role on June 22.  Following his graduation from K-State in the fall of 2003, Andrew spent 10 years working for K-State Athletics before he was recruited away a couple of years ago by the University of Texas to manage their annual fund as Assistant Athletics Director for Development.  Andrew will lead all of our Athletic Development efforts and serve as a member of the Senior Staff.  Following Chad Weiberg's departure to Texas Tech, we are very fortunate to have such a uniquely well-positioned and capable candidate available to continue our momentum and maintain the culture of service and productivity that we've come to expect from our development team.  Andrew is yet another example of a proven professional who recognizes that K-State is a special place and wants to be a part of our vision of being A Model Intercollegiate Athletics Program.  Help me welcome Andrew and his wife Kiley back home to Manhattan and the K-State Family!
