AT THE PLATE
Kicking off a 15-day stretch filled with 10 games, K-State will take on Nebraska in Manhattan and Omaha in Papillion, Nebraska in a pair of midweek contests ... The Wildcats host the Cornhuskers on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. for the second and final meeting between the two teams this season ... On Wednesday, K-State and Omaha will square off at 6:35 p.m. at Werner Park, home of the Triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals ... The Wildcats won the first meetings of the season against both Nebraska (4-2 on April 5) and Omaha (11-3 on March 29) ... K-State enters the week winning three of its last four and four of its last seven ... Nebraska is on a five-game losing streak and has losses in six of its last nine ... The Mavericks, meanwhile, have also lost five straight and nine of their last 12 since facing K-State on March 29.

LAST TIME OUT
K-State won its first Big 12 series of the season, taking two of three at West Virginia last weekend ... The Wildcats led for 25 of the possible 27 innings against the Mountaineers ... Josh Ethier produced the game-winning RBIs in the opener on Friday as the third baseman hit a two-run triple in the ninth to break a 6-6 tie and lead the Wildcats to an 8-6 win ... K-State led 6-2 after the fifth inning, but West Virginia used a three-run home run in the seventh to help tie the game ... On Saturday, the Wildcats scored in each of the first six innings, including four in the first, to beat the Mountaineers, 15-2 ... It was the most runs scored by the Wildcats in a Big 12 game since 2013 (vs. Texas Tech, 15-2) ... K-State had 16 hits, including seven extra-base hits in the second-largest win of the season ... In the finale, Josh Rolette hit a three-run home run in the third and starting pitcher Corey Fischer held West Virginia to no runs over 5 2/3 innings, but five unanswered runs gave the Mountaineers a 5-4 victory ... West Virginia scored four runs in the eighth.

INSIDE THE NEBRASKA SERIES
K-State trails in the all-time series against Nebraska, 113-168 ... The Wildcats won the first meeting against the Huskers this season, a 4-2 win in Lincoln two weeks ago ... K-State opened a 3-0 lead in that game, sparked by a solo homer by Jake Scudder, while Brandon Erickson threw four shutout innings in his only start of the year ... K-State has won six of the last nine meetings, including 3-1 in Manhattan ... The Wildcats are 71-75 all-time at home in the series (7-2 since 2009).

INSIDE THE OMAHA SERIES
The Wildcats lead the all-time series against Omaha, 9-1 ... K-State has won the last two meetings, including three weeks ago on March 29 (11-3 in Manhattan) ... The Wildcats are 1-1 at Omaha, with the one win occurring on April 8, 2015 (10-2) ... Of K-State’s seven wins since 2012, six have been by five or more runs ... Omaha’s lone win in the series was on April 1, 2014 (6-5 in 10 innings).

MIDWEEK NUMBERS
K-State is 4-3 in midweek contests so far this season (3-2 at home, 1-1 on the road) ... The Wildcats are out-hitting opponents, .319-.258, in such contests and averaging 7.6 runs (53 runs total) ... Tyler Wolfe hit his first career home run last Saturday at West Virginia, a three-run shot that capped a four-run first inning ... Wolfe became the 10th different Wildcat with a roundtripper this season ... That is the most Wildcats with a homer in a season since 2010 (11) ... Of the 10 Wildcats with a home run this year, only Tyler Moore and Steve Serratore had a homer in their K-State career prior to 2016 ... This year’s 18 home runs are the most for K-State since 2013 (29).

EN FUEGO
Tyler Moore, who is second on the team with three home runs and .336 batting average this season, has been on fire as of late, batting .484 (15-for-31) with 10 RBI over his last eight games ... The senior is the owner of a season-high eight-game hitting streak and career-high 15-game on-base streak ... The 15-game on-base streak is the longest active stretch on K-State and third longest overall this season.

GREATEST HITS
Clayton Dalrymple, who is pacing K-State in hitting  with a .349 clip, has a career-high 51 hits - a figure helped by a team-high 18 multi-hit games ... Dalrymple’s previous career-high in hits was 47 set last season over 56 games ... Dalrymple is currently fourth in the Big 12 in hits and sixth in batting average ... With seven more hits, the senior would match the team-high total from all of last season (58 by Max brown) ... Over his last six games, Dalrymple is batting .400 (10-for-25) with three doubles, five RBI and two walks.

HEATING UP
Josh Ethier has started each of the last 10 games, batting .313 (10-for-32) with a .410 OBP and five RBI ... He has four multi-hit games over the stretch as well (0 in his first 16 games this year).

HOME, SWEET HOME
