AT THE PLATE
With its non-conference schedule in the rearview mirror, K-State returns to Big 12 play this Friday-Sunday for a three-game series at Oklahoma (22-22-1, 7-11 Big 12) at L. Dale Mitchell Park ... The Wildcats and Sooners are separated by 1.5 games for sixth in the Big 12 standings ... The Wildcats are on a three-game winning streak and have won seven of their last eight ... K-State beat Wichita State in a pair of midweek games to create the winning streak ... The Sooners, who beat Oral Roberts, 12-3, in a midweek game this past Tuesday, have won their last two contests but have lost seven of their last 11 ... K-State is 10-10 on the road this season (2-4 Big 12) while Oklahoma is 14-8 at home (6-3 Big 12) ... Oklahoma has not lost a Big 12 series at home this season while K-State has split its two con-ference road series (loss at Texas Tech, won at West Virginia).

LAST TIME OUT
Facing Wichita State on back-to-back days, K-State defeated the Shockers in both games to win the season series against the in-state rival ... On Tuesday in Manhattan, K-State overcame two Shocker runs in the first by scoring four in the bottom half and then adding four runs in the sixth to pull away in a 9-5 win ... Wildcat starting pitcher Brogan Heinen allowed the two runs in the first but went on to throw five innings in his first career start to earn the win ... The middle of the order powered the K-State offense, led by three hits from cleanup hitter Jake Scudder and three RBI by the No. 5 hitter Tyler Moore ... On Wednesday in Wichita, K-State struck out 15 Shocker batters, its most in a game since 2013, while two runs in each of the second and third innings proved to be enough in a 5-2 victo-ry ... K-State starting pitcher Logan Wiley struck out a career-high 10 in his five innings to earn the winning decision ... K-State was out-hit by Wichita State, 11-7, as the Shockers had five doubles ... Quintin Crandall had two of K-State’s four RBI in the win.

INSIDE THE OKLAHOMA SERIES
K-State trails in the all-time series against Oklahoma, 77-191-1 ... In Big 12 play, the Wildcats are 17-40 against the Sooners ... Last year, K-State was 2-3 against Oklahoma, losing the regular season series in Manhattan (May 8-10) before splitting the two games in the Big 12 Baseball Championship in Tulsa ... K-State has not won a series since 2013 when it took two-of-three in Manhattan in mid-May ... The Wildcats have not won a series in Norman since 1971 when it bookended the three-game set with victories ... K-State has won at least one game at Oklahoma in each of the last five trips, with the Wildcats being in position to win the series on Sunday four times.

The Wildcats have allowed multiple runs in just one inning over the last five games (first inning vs. Wichita State on May 3) ... Dalrymple is looking to become the first Wildcat to lead the Big 12 in conference-only hitting since Austin Fisher in 2013 ... In his last six Big 12 games, the Coppell, Texas native is hitting .542 (13-for-24) with two doubles and four RBI.

CATS IN THE TOP 10
Dalrymple is not the only Wildcat in the Big 12’s top-10 for conference-only hitting as Tyler Moore (.393) and Jake Scudder (.379) are fifth and seventh, respectively ... The Wildcats are the only team with three players in the top-10 for conference batting average ... As a team, K-State is hitting .290 in Big 12 only contests, the fourth-best mark in the league.

DOUBLE TROUBLE
The K-State defense has turned 45 double plays this season, including 19 over the last 13 games ... The Wildcats are third in the Big 12 in double plays and 18th in Division I.
