Women's Track Receives Academic Honor

USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams: Men | Women

MANHATTAN, Kan. – The Kansas State women’s track and field team has been recognized for its work in the classroom yet again. The Wildcats were named among the USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams joining seven other Big 12 Conference women’s teams on the list.

K-State’s women’s team tallied a combined 3.12 GPA for the 2012-13 academic year to receive the honor for the second time in three years. The USTFCCCA also recently awarded individual honors with six members of the women’s team being named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team.

The USTFCCCA recognizes teams with a combined team GPA of 3.00 or higher as All-Academic Teams. This year the organization recognized 187 women’s teams and 111 men’s teams at the NCAA Division I level.
