Rovelto's Winter Clinics Set

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Kansas State track and field coach Cliff Rovelto has set dates for two winter jumps clinics. Both clinics are open to athletes and coaches at a cost of $75.

Rovelto has been at K-State for 20 years and is worl renowned as a jumps coach. Also helping at the clnic will be current K-State track athletes as well as some of Rovelto's post collegiate athletes.

A long jump/triple jump clinic will be conducted October 19 at Ahearn Field House beginning at 9 a.m. On November 9, a clinic will be held focusing on the high jump.

White at Kansas State, Rovelto's long and triple jumpers have earned 16 All-American nods and 14 conference championships. His high jumpers have won 22 conference titles with 38 All-Americans. Three student-athletes coached by Rovelto have won NCAA Championships in the high jump along with eight runners-up. Rovelto has also coached 11 USA National Champions in the high jump.
