RJ Santigate had two hits on Friday, giving him 16 multi-hit games this season. Four Wildcats are now tied for the team lead with 16 multi-hit games.


The two hits by Santigate helped him extend his on-base streak to 13 games, the longest active streak by a Wildcat. Santigate also has a hit in 12 of his last 13 games.


Mitch Meyer recorded his ninth multi-hit game of the season after going 2-for-4 on Friday. It was his second multi-hit game in his last three contests. Meyer is 4-for-10 with a walk in his last three games.


Ross Kivett went 1-for-4 on Friday, giving him 13 hits in his last nine games. Since April 17, Kivett is batting .382 (13-for-34) with four walks, five RBI, and six stolen bases.


Over his last nine games, Shane Conlon is batting .364 (12-for-33) with a walk, two doubles, and three RBI. Conlon went 1-for-2 with a walk and a sacrifice at TCU on Friday.


Jon Roblez turned in his sixth scoreless appearance of the season after holding TCU to no runs in 1 1/3 innings on Friday. The freshman right-hander has a 0.00 ERA in three Big 12 appearances and a 1.23 ERA overall on the season.


K-State has lost four straight games and seven straight Big 12 road games. The Wildcats last Big 12 road win was on March 23 at Oklahoma (W, 5-0).


Friday was the second time K-State has been shut out this season and first since Opening Day on February 14 at Cal Poly. Last season, K-State was shut out once (March 13, 2013 vs. Northern Colorado). Friday’s loss was the first time K-State had been shut out in a Big 12 game since May 12, 2012 vs. KU.
