Brad Hill Winter Exposure Camp Set for Jan. 12, 19

Jan. 2, 2014

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The Brad Hill Winter Exposure Camp is now accepting entrants for the two upcoming camp dates on January 12 and 19. The camp, set for 9 am to 3 pm on both dates, is for ages 15-18 and will be held at Tointon Family Stadium. It will provide players with an opportunity to be evaluated in a professional scouting format by the K-State coaching staff. The cost is $120 per camper, which includes lunch.

Campers will be assessed at their primary and secondary positions. A written camp evaluation identifying each player's strengths and weaknesses will be mailed out and can be used to send to other colleges of interest. The camp will also provide the opportunity to see what current Wildcat student-athletes experience everyday in the K-State program.

Forty percent of K-State's current roster has attended past camp events. College coaches from around the state will be contacted about this event, and various coaches have attended exposure camps in the past.

Campers need to bring a bat, a baseball glove and batting gloves as well as baseball pants, helmets and cleats. Catchers must bring their own gear.

For more information, please contact K-State assistant baseball coach Blake Kangas at (785) 532-7968 or email him at More information about the Exposure Camp and other upcoming baseball camps can be found here.
