MANHATTAN, Kan. - The 2014 K-State baseball season is less than a month away, and this Friday, January 24, is the priority deadline for season tickets for the exciting home schedule at Tointon Family Stadium.

Wildcat fans have already shown unprecedented levels of support of K-State baseball with record-breaking season ticket sales. Season ticket sales are outpacing last season's total by nearly 400 tickets, but good seats are still available in the brand new Cat Cushion general admission section.

With this Friday's priority deadline, fans who purchase their season tickets by January 24 will be seated in athletic department priority point order. Priority points are accumulated through annual Ahearn Fund membership donations and all season ticket purchases.

For the 2014 season, the general public can purchase Cat Cushion season tickets for only $100 per seat. A purchase of four or more season tickets in the Cat Cushion seating area reduces the price for each seat to $50 for the entire season, which is less than $2 per game. K-State faculty and staff have the opportunity to purchase Cat Cushion season tickets for $75 each.

Also in 2014, all chairback seating will be sold on a reserved seat basis. Reserved chairback seating will be available in sections 1, 2, 6, 7 and 8 at Tointon Family Stadium for as little as $4 a game. General public season tickets in reserved chairbacks are $150 each, K-State faculty and staff season tickets are $125 each, and fans that purchase four or more season tickets receive a price of $100 per seat.

To purchase season tickets through the Athletics Ticket Office, fans can visit, call toll free 1-800-221-CATS (2287) or buy in-person at Bramlage Coliseum.

The Wildcats feature 19 returning letterwinners - including preseason All-Americans Ross Kivett and Jake Matthys - and start their home schedule on Friday, February 28 against Milwaukee. Other opponents for the home slate include Iowa, Nebraska, KU, Wichita State, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas. The season starts on Friday, February 14, at Cal Poly.
