K-State Selected for FSN Big 12 TV Package

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State was selected for one of five Big 12 regular season baseball games that will be televised throughout the Big 12 region on Fox Sports Net, the conference announced Monday.

K-State's game at Missouri on Saturday, April 24, was selected by the network. The contest, which begins at 2 p.m., marks the second-straight season the Cats have been selected for the Big 12 television package. Last season, Kansas State and Kansas squared off on FSN.

The game at Missouri will be available to FSN's regional affiliates, reaching more than 82 million cable and satellite TV homes nationwide. 

Additional television appearances are possible through other Big 12 broadcast partners, while K-State's games through its contract with FSN Kansas City will be announced at a later date.

Kansas State opens its 110th season of baseball on Friday, February 19, at 11 a.m. (CT) against Delaware in Charleston, S.C., as part of The Citadel Memorial Challenge. The Wildcats open their 28-game home schedule on Friday, March 12, with a four-game series against Kent State.
