Three K-State Baseball Games to be Televised

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State will have three of its baseball games televised throughout the state of Kansas in 2008 as the Kansas State Athletic Department and the Wichita State Athletic Department announced their baseball television selections.

Televised action for the 2008 season gets underway as Creighton visits Manhattan on Wednesday, March 26. The game, which is set for 6:30 p.m., is one of two selected by FSN Midwest as part of its agreement with Kansas State. The other game selected by FSN Midwest is a Sunday afternoon tilt between K-State and Oklahoma State on March 30, as the Cowboys visit Manhattan for a 1 p.m. first pitch.

As part of Wichita State’s television package, Cox Communication’s state-wide channel Kansas Now 22 will televise the game between the Shockers and Wildcats in Manhattan on Tuesday, April 8 starting at 6:30 p.m.

Kansas State begins the 2008 season the weekend of Friday, Feb. 22, with two games at both California and Santa Clara.
