Feb. 6, 2012

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The 2012 Kansas State baseball team will sign autographs along the concourse on the north end of Bramlage Coliseum prior to Tuesday's men's basketball game against Texas Tech.

The autograph session, which begins at 6 p.m., will feature a Wildcat team that returns seven position starters and seven pitchers off last year's squad that advanced to their third-straight NCAA Regional.

In addition, the 2012 squad will be recognized on the floor during the second media timeout (12:00 mark) of the first half.

Season ticket packages for the 30-game home schedule will also be available for purchase during the autograph session. The 2012 home slate includes 13 games against teams that advanced to last year's postseason, while all three Big 12 Conference games against in-state rival Kansas will be played at Tointon Family Stadium after the two teams split the series for the last 11 years.

Season tickets start at $75 for the GA bench option and are only $2.50 per game when fans order four or more.

Information regarding all ticket packages will be available Tuesday night. Fans can also buy season tickets by visiting the K-State Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum, by phone at 1-800-221-CATS or online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets.

The 2012 campaign begins on Saturday, February 18, with a three-game series at CSU Bakersfield before a four-game tournament in San Diego the following weekend. K-State opens play at Tointon Family Stadium on Friday, March 2, with a three-game weekend against Pacific.
