Baseball to be Honored during Feb. 10 Basketball Game

MANHATTAN, Kan. - The K-State baseball team, ranked as high as No. 18 in preseason national polls, will be recognized during the men's basketball game against KU in Bramlage Coliseum on Monday, February 10. The Wildcats will also sign autographs on the concourse before the game, starting at 7 pm.

After signing autographs prior to the primetime contest, the entire 2014 baseball team will be honored during the first half for winning the 2013 Big 12 title and reaching the program's first Super Regional. This year's squad, led by head coach Brad Hill, features 19 returning letterwinners, including All-Big 12 selections Shane Conlon, Blair DeBord, Austin Fisher, Ross Kivett and Jake Matthys.

The 2014 K-State baseball season starts next Friday, Feb. 14 at Cal Poly, kicking off an eight-game road trip in the state of California.

The first of 28 home games at Tointon Family Stadium is on Friday, Feb. 28 at 3 pm against Milwaukee. Season tickets, starting as low as $2 per game, are available by visiting, calling 1-800-221-CATS or stopping by the K-State Athletics Ticket Office at Bramlage Coliseum.
