Game at Nebraska Postponed to April 9

UPDATED: Game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 5 pm in Lincoln, Neb. The article originally stated no makeup date had been announced as of Monday, March 3.

K-State Baseball’s game at Nebraska scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 has been postponed due to field conditions not suitable for playing in cold temperatures. The game has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 9.

K-State (4-7) will open its 2014 home schedule on Friday, March 7 against Iowa (9-1) at 3 pm to start a three-game series against the Hawkeyes at Tointon Family Stadium.

Tickets are available for the Wildcats’ home opener and can be purchased by visiting, calling 1-800-221-CATS or stopping by the K-State Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum. The first 500 fans to Friday’s game will receive a Big 12 Championship Koozie.
