Baseball Changes Weekend Series Schedule

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State has made changes to the schedule for this weekend’s opening Big 12 series against West Virginia at Tointon Family Stadium due to cold temperatures and a chance of precipitation on Sunday.

The Wildcats and Mountaineers will now play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 4 p.m., with game two scheduled to begin approximately 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one. Saturday’s contest, which now serves as the series finale, is still scheduled for a 2 p.m., first pitch.

The pregame tailgate on the southwest lawn of the stadium grounds will be held at 3 p.m., on Friday and 1 p.m., on Saturday. Pregame tailgates feature live music and various food and beverage items. Friday night is also Team/Camper Night, while Saturday is Season Ticket Holder Appreciation Day.
