Baseball TV Schedule Set

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State will have five of its baseball contests televised in 2010, including three in the month of May, as various networks have announced their 2010 collegiate baseball television schedules.

K-State kicks off its television slate on Tuesday, March 30, when the Wildcats host Wichita State at 6:30 p.m. That game can be seen throughout the state of Kansas on Cox Communication's Kansas 22 and MetroSports in the Kansas City area.

Kansas State's game at Missouri on Saturday, April 24, will be televised nationally on FSN as part of the Big 12 baseball television package. It marks the second-straight season Kansas State was selected for the Big 12 package after last season's game at KU was picked up by FSN.

Through Kansas State's contract with FSN Kansas City, the Wildcats' May 8 game against nationally-ranked Texas will be seen on the network. Due to scheduling by FSN, the game will be moved from a 2 p.m. first pitch to 2:30 p.m.

Kansas 22 and MetroSports will also be on hand for both of Kansas State's home contests against in-state rival Kansas on May 15 and 16.

The five television broadcasts ties for the most in head coach Brad Hill's seven-year tenure as the Wildcats appeared on TV five times during their historic 2009 season.
