Blackout, Pack the Park Promotions On Deck

MANHATTAN, Kan. - With the K-State baseball team's first two Big 12 Conference home series on the horizon, K-State officials have announced two exciting promotions, Blackout Tointon Family Stadium and Pack the Park, set to take place during the three-game sets against West Virginia and TCU in early April.


On Thursday, April 2, fans are encouraged to wear black and help "blackout" Tointon Family Stadium as the Wildcats open their first home conference series of 2015 against the Mountaineers of West Virginia. Fans will be dressed in unison with the Wildcats when they don their black uniforms in the 6:30 p.m. contest. Also, the first 100 students to the game will receive a free black "Cats, Man" t-shirt.

On Friday, April 10, all tickets are only $1 for the annual Pack the Park night as K-State will take on nationally-ranked TCU in a 6:30 p.m. matchup. In addition to $1 tickets, select concession items will be available for $1.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for all games or on the day of the game when the Tointon Family Stadium box office opens one hour before first pitch.

K-State has opened its Big 12 schedule with back-to-back road series, first at #14 Texas and then at #12 Oklahoma State this weekend. The Wildcats and Cowboys begin their three-game series in Stillwater on Friday, March 27 at 7 p.m. All three games in the series can streamed online here via Oklahoma State's broadcast and heard on News Radio 1350 KMAN.
