Sunday's Baseball Telecast Canceled

MANHATTAN, Kan. Sunday’s scheduled FSN Midwest telecast of the baseball game between Kansas State and Oklahoma State has been canceled, K-State and FSN Midwest officials announced Friday.

“Based on the forecast potential for rain on Sunday and the investment required to produce a one-game telecast, we agreed in the spirit of our partnership with FSN Midwest that this was the prudent decision,” said Casey Scott, associate athletics director.

The Wildcats and Cowboys are scheduled to continue their Big 12 series at 2 p.m., Saturday, with the finale of the three-game set set for 1 p.m., Sunday.

K-State’s next televised game will be at 6:30 p.m., April 8th against Wichita State on Cox Cable Kansas Now 22 as a part of the Wichita State television package when the Shockers travel to Manhattan.  The Cats will also appear on CSTV when they travel to Omaha, Neb., in a rematch against Creighton at 7 p.m., on April 15.
