MANHATTAN, Kan. – A night of $1 tickets and hot dogs will highlight K-State Baseball’s annual Pack the Park promotion, which will be held this year on Saturday, April 19 at Tointon Family Stadium in a Big 12 matchup against Baylor.

The nationally-televised game will feature general admission tickets for $1 while hot dogs will also be sold for $1, as supplies last.

The Pack the Park game, the final contest of a three-game series against the Bears, will be broadcast live on ESPNU. First pitch is set for 7 pm.

Last season’s Pack the Park promotion, held on April 5 against Texas Tech, drew the fourth-largest crowd in Tointon Family Stadium history (3,866).

This season, K-State is ranked among the nation’s top 25 in average attendance. Through the first 10 home games in 2014, the Wildcats are averaging 2,621 fans.

After claiming a series win this past weekend against Creighton at TD Ameritrade Park, home of the College Baseball World Series, K-State improved to 17-10 on the season. The Wildcats will make a return trip to Nebraska for a midweek game against Omaha on Tuesday, April 1 before squaring off against KU in the Sunflower Showdown series from April 4-6 in Manhattan.
