K-State Alumni Association Day Set for April 27

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Members of the K-State Alumni Association can receive discounted baseball tickets to the April 27 contest against Oklahoma State, as the association has announced it will sponsor the Kansas State baseball weekend series with the Cowboys, April 27-29, at Tointon Family Stadium.

K-State Athletics, a proud partner with the alumni association, is offering discounted baseball tickets to K-State Alumni Association members for the Friday, April 27, contest, which begins at 6:30 p.m. Members of the alumni association can purchase a general admission bench ticket for $3, a savings of $5 off the regular price. Also, K-State Alumni Association Board Chair Todd Johnson will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.

For the 16th-consecutive year, the K-State Alumni Association ranks No. 1 in the Big 12 for the percentage of graduates who are members of their respective alumni associations.

The discount is available to K-State Alumni Association members who show their membership card at the Tointon Family Stadium box office on the day of the game.

Kansas State continues its three-game series against Sacred Heart Friday night at 6:30 p.m., at Tointon Family Stadium. The game will be shown world-wide on K-StateHD.TV and can be heard in the Manhattan area on SportsRadio 1350 KMAN as well as online at both www.k-statesports.com and www.1350kman.com.
