Three Upcoming Games Limited to Standing-Room Only

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- K-State Athletics officials have announced the Sunday, April 12 game vs. No. 3 TCU and the Saturday, April 18 and Sunday, April 19 contests against Texas Tech at Tointon Family Stadium are sold out of general admission seats and limited to standing-room only tickets.

Fans who purchase standing-room only tickets are permitted to bring lawn chairs into the stadium to enjoy the game from the grass berm down the left field line. Tickets can be purchased for $8 for adults and $5 for youth for each game.

To purchase tickets, fans can visit here, call 1-800-221-CATS (2287), or stop by the K-State Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum. The ticket window at Tointon Family Stadium opens one hour before first pitch on gameday.

The April 12 and 19 games are both Family Days, which means fans can enjoy Willie's Fun Zone before the game and kids can run the bases after the game. The Wildcat 4 Pack will be available as well, with four standing-room only tickets, four hot dogs, four chips and four drinks -- a $68 value -- for $34.

First pitch for April 12 is set for 12 p.m. while April 18 and 19 are at 2 p.m. and 1 p.m., respectively.

K-State, which has sold out of general admission seats five times this season, is averaging 2,558 fans, which is the 26th-best per game average in Division I.

The Wildcats open up their series against TCU on Friday, April 10 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are limited to standing-room only as well, but as part of the Pack the Park promotion, all tickets are $1. Also, select concession items are $1.

The Texas Tech series gets underway on Friday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m. Limited general admission seating is available.
