K-State Remains Steady in National Polls

MANHATTAN, Kan. - For the third-straight week, Kansas State baseball was ranked 20th nationally as various organizations released their rankings on Monday.

Kansas State, which was 20th in last week's USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Top 25, remained No. 20 in the new poll. Collegiate Baseball also ranked the Cats 20th, a one-spot improvement from last week.

The Wildcats also appeared in the Rivals.com Top 25 for the first time this season, checking in at No. 25 in this week's poll. Last season, Rivals.com ranked K-State as high as 18th.

The Wildcats moved up six spots to No. 24 in the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Top 25, marking the third-straight week K-State has been ranked in the poll.

Kansas State travels to Provo, Utah, to face BYU, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 13 and 14, at Miller Field. First pitch on Tuesday is set for 7:30 p.m. (CT) before a 12 p.m. (CT) series finale on Wednesday.

K-State returns home on Friday, April 16, to begin a three-game set against Baylor.
