K-State Remains in Top 20

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State remained in the top 20 for a fourth-straight week as the Wildcats placed 20th in this week's USA Today/ESPN Coaches' Top 25 announced on Monday.

K-State was 20th in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 a month ago before finding itself in the top 20 of the coaches' poll for two consecutive weeks before Monday's distinction.

The Wildcats also remained in the Collegiate Baseball Top 30 as the organization placed the Wildcats 22nd. The Cats were also ranked No. 24 by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Kansas State hosts Chicago State for a brief two-game series beginning Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at Tointon Family Stadium. The series concludes with a 1 p.m. contest on Wednesday.

The Wildcats continue Big 12 play this weekend against Oklahoma at L. Dale Mitchell Park.
