Where the 'Cats Play - Summer League Edition

SENIORS IN 2015-16
Clayton Dalrymple, El Dorado Broncos (Jayhawk League)

Dalrymple will rejoin El Dorado in 2015 as he played in 10 games with the Broncos last summer, batting .429 (15-for-35) with 8 stolen bases.

Tyler Moore, East Texas Pump Jacks (Texas Collegiate League)
After finishing the 2015 season as K-State's top hitter, Moore has joined the East Texas Pump Jacks of the Texas Collegiate League for the summer. Over his first four games, the rising-senior was 3-for-12 (.250) with an RBI and run scored. He has a hit in each game he has started so far while his RBI was recorded in a 3-1 win over the Brazos Valley Bombers on June 6. Moore is the first Wildcat to play for the Pump Jacks since Mitch Meyer in 2013.

Tyler Wolfe, Mat-Su Miners (Alaska Baseball League)
The Wildcats' top hitter in Big 12 play, Wolfe joins the Miners, who will open their season on June 9. Last summer, the Miners lost in the ABL Top of the World Series to the Alaska Goldpanners and finished with a 26-14 record, including 21-12 in league play to win the National Division. Mat-Su has finished runner-up in the ABL for the last two years. The last Wildcats to don a Miner uniform were pitcher Blake McFadden and third baseman RJ Santigate in 2013.


JUNIOR IN 2015-16
Jake Wodtke, El Dorado Broncos (Jayhawk League)

After playing for the Topeka Golden Giants of the Mid-Plains League in 2014, Wodtke will join teammate Clayton Dalrymple with the Broncos.


SOPHOMORES IN 2015-16
Sam Chadick, Junction City Brigade (Mid-Plains League)

After a freshman campaign in which he started 16 of K-State's final 19 games, Chadick will join the Junction City Brigade of the Mid-Plains League.

Ethan Klosterboer, Junction City Brigade (Mid-Plains League)
Klosterboer will play for the Junction City Brigade after he appeared in 22 games for the Wildcats as a true freshman in 2015.

Brian O'Bannon, Topeka Senators (Mid-Plains League)
O'Bannon, who redshirted with the Wildcats in 2015 after transferring from Arkansas Tech, will play for the Topeka Senators.


FRESHMEN IN 2015-16
Matt Nerz, Rossville Rattlers (Mid-Plains League)

Nerz, a redshirt with the Wildcats in 2015, joins the Rossville Rattlers.

Cade Bunnell, Rossville Rattlers (Mid-Plains League)
Bunnell, an incoming freshman from Stoughton, Wisconsin, will join Matt Nerz and fellow newcomer Brooks Zimmerman with the Rattlers.

Ethan Skender, Junction City Brigade (Mid-Plains League)
One of the top MLB Draft prospects out of Illinois, the incoming freshman Skender will play for the Junction City Brigade alongside Chadick and Klosterboer.

Michael Smith, Topeka Senators (Mid-Plains League)
The incoming freshman, a left-handed outfielder, will play for the Topeka Senators alongside Wildcat teammate -- and fellow left handed-hitting outfielder -- Brian O'Bannon.

Cory Wright, Topeka Golden Giants (Mid-Plains League)
Wright, an incoming freshman out of South Elgin, Illinois, will play for the Topeka Golden Giants this summer. Wright, a left-handed hitter and thrower, was a pitcher and first baseman in high school.

Brooks Zimmerman, Rossville Rattlers (Mid-Plains League)
A power-hitting infielder from Stillwater High School, Zimmerman will play alongside new K-State teammates Matt Nerz and Cade Bunnell with Rossville.
