Game Five Start Time Moved Up to 3:30

MANHATTAN, Kan. Start time Friday’s 2007 K-State Fall World Series game has been moved up 30 minutes to 3:30 p.m., head coach Brad Hill announced Thursday.

The game, which was originally scheduled for 4 p.m., is the final game of the intrasquad series between the Black and Purple teams. The Black squad holds a 3-1 advantage in the series after winning the first three games, including the second and third contests in extra innings. The Purple squad won its first game Wednesday night, 8-6.

Friday afternoon’s game is the final chance for fans to get a preview for the 2008 Wildcats, who begin play Feb. 22 against California in Berkeley, Calif. The game is open to the public and admission is free.
