MANHATTAN, Kan. – Due to rainy and blustery conditions in the Manhattan area, Wednesday’s K-State Fall World Series game has been postponed.

The next game will be this Friday at 4 p.m., while Saturday’s game is at 2 p.m. The final game, if necessary, it scheduled for 3 p.m., on Monday, November 7.

The 2011 K-State Fall World Series is knotted up at a game apiece after a pair of walk-off victories. Game one on Sunday saw the Grey and Black squad win in come-from-behind fashion by scoring a run in both the eighth and ninth innings. In the bottom of the ninth, R.J. Santigate walked and moved to second base on a balk. Following a walk and a double play, Dan Klein singled up the middle for a 4-3 win.

On Monday, the Grey and Black squad looked as though it was well on its way to being up 2-0 in the series as it held an 8-3 lead heading into the bottom of the seventh. But the Purple and White team was able to put six runs on the board that was culminated by a game-winning RBI single by Blair DeBord.

Each game of the K-State Fall World Series is held at Tointon Family Stadium and admission is free.
