Powercat Exchange Ticket Service Available

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Bramlage Coliseum has consistently been packed with purple this basketball season, and to make certain it remains full and one of the best environments in the Big 12, Wildcat season tickets holders are encouraged to utilize K-State's Powercat Exchange ticket service through its official website, www.k-statesports.com.

For ticket purchasers who are unable to attend any K-State men's basketball game, Powercat Exchange allows season ticket holders to manage the use of their tickets and transfer them to other K-Staters to assure their seats are being occupied.

"Powercat Exchange is a convenient service that we encourage our fans to take advantage of if they are unable to attend a game," Athletics Director John Currie said. "As the excitement level continues to increase this basketball season, we want to make certain that we fill every seat in Bramlage and help maintain our home-court advantage as we enter Big 12 Conference play."

By offering unused tickets to Powercat Exchange, season ticket holders can make sure their seats are filled while also maintaining their preferred season ticket status.

To distribute unused tickets, fans should go to www.k-statesports.com and the "buy tickets" drop-down menu to register for Powercat Exchange. After signing in, click on the "tickets" followed by the "ticket marketplace" links. Then, register via the "sign me up" icon located under the login box, enter the appropriate season account number as well as a pin number and click on the "my inventory" menu to begin posting tickets for exchange.

For those looking for unused tickets through the service, fans can gain access to hard-to-find or previously sold-out tickets and help fill every seat in the arena while also being assured of their authenticity.

"Often in high-demand ticket situations fans wind up with unauthorized tickets," said Robin Fosha, director of ticket operations. "It's truly 'buyer beware' if someone purchases a ticket from a source other than our ticket office or through this official service, Powercat Exchange."

To obtain unused tickets, fans will also need to register for the service. After signing in, fans can browse the ticket listing and acquire tickets for the games they wish to attend. Once tickets have been purchased, the print-at-home option allows fans to print their tickets at their convenience and keep them from waiting in will-call lines or risk losing tickets through the mail.

For fans who are not season ticket holders, an annual membership fee of $15 is required to utilize Powercat Exchange and a minimal service charge will be applied to each order.

"Our tremendous fan support has been a big part of our success so far this season," head coach Frank Martin said. "We have some of the best fans in all of college basketball and I have no doubt they will make sure Bramlage Coliseum remains as one of the toughest places to play in the Big 12."
