Nebraska Game Sold Out

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State athletics officials announced on Thursday that all reserved seating for the February 28 men’s basketball game against Nebraska has been sold.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., in Bramlage Coliseum.

The sellout is the third in conference play this season as the Wildcats played in front of a capacity crowd against Oklahoma on January 10 and will do so again on Saturday against rival Kansas. The sold-out matchup with the Huskers will also feature the jersey retirements of former Wildcat greats Mitch Richmond and Willie Murrell in a halftime presentation.

Tickets for the February 28 jersey retirement luncheon featuring Murrell, Richmond, Tammie Romstad and Priscilla Gary, remain available. The group will be honored at the public luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the Clarion Hotel. Those tickets can be purchased for $20 by calling the K-State Athletic Ticket Office at (800) 221-CATS.

Tickets also remain available for next Tuesday’s 7 p.m. non-conference matchup with North Carolina-Central. For tickets, contact the K-State Athletics Ticket Office or here at

The Wildcats (17-7, 6-4) ran their current winning streak to six games on Wednesday night with their 85-73 win over Texas Tech.
