Walker to chat on ESPN.com Thursday

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Freshman forward Bill Walker will participate in an online chat on ESPN.com on Thursday at 2:30 p.m. CT, to talk about the team's success this season and its upcoming game with No. 6 Kansas on Saturday.

Walker, who has started 22 games this season, ranks second on the team in a number of categories, including scoring (16.2 ppg.), rebounding (6.7), double-figure games (21) and double-doubles (four).  He has posted three 30-point games this season, including a career-best 31 points against Xavier on Dec. 31 and Baylor on Feb. 23.

Kansas State (18-9, 8-5 Big 12) returns to action on Saturday, March 1, as the Wildcats travel to Lawrence, Kan., to take on archrival No. 6/7 Kansas (25-3, 10-3 Big 12) at Allen Fieldhouse at 8 p.m. CT on ESPN.  The Wildcats ended 24 years of frustration against the Jayhawks at home on Jan. 30 with an 84-75 win at Bramlage Coliseum.  It marked the team's first win at home over Kansas since Jan. 29, 1983 and the first-ever at Bramlage Coliseum.  Walker was one of three players to score in double figures for Kansas State with 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting.
