Tickets available for men's hoops banquet

MANHATTAN, Kan. Tickets are still available for Kansas State’s men’s basketball banquet set for Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m., in the ballroom of the Clarion Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn Holidome) in Manhattan, athletics department officials announced today.

 

Tickets for the banquet are available for $50 per person or $500 per table (with a player seated with guests).  The event is limited to the first 300 people and fans are encouraged to make their reservations by Friday, April 6.

 

The evening’s festivities will include a review of the 2006-07 season, a highlight video and presentation of both awards and senior gifts.  A complimentary meal will be included in the ticket price and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening.

 

Fans interested in ordering tickets for the banquet may do so in person at the K-State Athletic Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum, by calling toll-free, (800) 221.CATS or via the internet at www.kstatesports.com.  The ticket office is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday.

 

Kansas State completed the 2006-07 season with a 23-12 overall record and a 10-6 mark in Big 12 Conference play.  The 23 wins were the most by a Wildcat squad in nearly 20 seasons, while the 10 league victories were the most in the Big 12 era.  The squad was invited to the postseason for the first time since 1999, where they advanced to the second round of the MasterCard NIT.
