Men's Hoops 2015-16 Season Tickets On Sale June 10

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Season tickets for Kansas State's home men's basketball schedule in 2015-16 will go on sale Wednesday, June 10, the athletic department announced today.
    
Fans will able to purchase exclusively online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets on June 10 with a number of incentives, including an exclusive edition white and classic lavender reversible jersey for each season ticket purchased the first day. Phone and in-person sales will begin on Monday, June 15 with early-bird and priority deadlines set for Friday, July 3 and Friday, July 17.

K-State will play at least 18 games in Bramlage Coliseum in 2015-16 with the season opener set for Friday, November 13 against Maryland-Eastern Shore in the first of two Opening Games of the CBE Hall of Fame Classic. The non-conference home slate is highlighted by games against Ole Miss in the Big 12-SEC Challenge presented by Sonic on Saturday, January 30 and Atlantic 10 foe Saint Louis on Tuesday, December 29 as well as Columbia, South Dakota, South Carolina State, Coppin State and North Dakota.

In addition, the Wildcats will again face an 18-game, round-robin Big 12 Conference schedule with visits from seven NCAA Tournament teams, including Baylor, Iowa State, Kansas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and West Virginia. The final Big 12 schedule of games will be released later this summer.

A variety of season ticket packages, including the popular Wildcat 4-Pack, are available. The Wildcat 4-Pack, which includes bench and general admission sections, has also been expanded to include the Cat Cushion sections of 10-17 and 26-27, 1-2, and can be purchased at $900, $1,100 or $1,200, depending on location, for a savings up to $95 per ticket. The Wildcat Victory Ticket Plan, available in limited quantities, includes all non-conference and all-midweek conference games (excluding Big Monday and the Kansas games) in general admission seating (sections 24-25) for $129.

In addition to its usual ticket offerings, there are also a limited number of Young Alumni packages, which are available for all K-State undergraduate degree recipients in the past five years (December 2010 to May 2015). These ticket packages are $200 and just $100 for those with Young Alumni football season tickets with an option to utilize the 6-month payment plan for $34 per month. Young Alumni can purchase up to two season tickets at the discounted rate.

Prices for all other season ticket options remain the same for the fifth consecutive season. Five and six-month credit card plans are also available for all season ticket purchases.

An Ahearn Fund contribution is required for all premium, chairback and cushioned seating. Specific required giving levels by section are listed at www.AhearnFund.com.

Season tickets will be available online at www.kstatesports.com/tickets starting Monday, June 10. Current season-ticket holders should receive their renewal information in the mail the week of June 8 and have until Friday, July 17 to arrange payment and retain their seats for the 2015-16 season. New ticket holders are also encouraged to purchase season tickets prior to the July 17 deadline. New full season-ticket requests will be handled utilizing the K-State Priority Points system which rewards fans for their history of season ticket purchases and contributions to the Ahearn Fund. All requests are based on seat availability and specific locations are not guaranteed.

The Ticket Office will also utilize an online seat selection process, similar to football season tickets, with all season ticket holders who have purchased by July 17 receiving an appointment time to add, relocate or select new ticket locations.  

New this season, all season ticket holders will receive concessions discounts including $1 off all hot dogs, popcorn, pretzels and large souvenir fountain drinks at any of the main concession stands. (Not valid on promo pricing offers)

There are a number of incentives for fans purchasing season tickets on the first day of sales on June 10 as well as before the July 3 early-bird and July 17 priority deadlines.

Fans purchasing season tickets on June 10 will receive an exclusive reversible jersey (one per season ticket ordered) that features the new white jerseys that will debut this season on one side and the classic lavender jersey on the other which commemorates the 35th anniversary of Rolando Blackman's buzzer beater to knock off No. 1 Oregon State.

Fans who purchase season tickets prior to July 3 early-bird deadline will be enrolled in a prize drawing that includes two tickets to the CBE Hall of Fame Classic on November 23-24 at the Sprint Center and the Wichita Wildcat Classic against Colorado State on December 19, two courtside seats to a select non-conference game, a loge box party, one season parking pass, an official Nike jersey and a $100 gift card to the K-State Superstore at the Stadium.

Early-bird renewals will also receive a $10 discount off the season processing fee when ordering online, an additional $15 savings off the fee when paying in full online by e-check and a six-month credit card payment option. Fans will also receive a code (one-time only use) for 20 percent off at the K-State Online Team Store.

In addition to the home schedule, season ticket holders and Ahearn Fund members will have the first opportunity to pre-order tickets for the CBE Hall of Fame Classic at the Sprint Center on Monday-Tuesday, November 23-24 and the Wichita Wildcat Classic at INTRUST Bank Arena against Colorado State on Saturday, December 19.

All season ticket orders made prior to the July 17 renewal deadline can request CBE Hall of Fame Classic two-night, lower-level tickets for $64 (ends) and $134 (sidelines). These same orders will also receive priority seating in order of athletic department priority points for the Wichita Wildcat Classic and will receive a discount between $7 and $12 per ticket in some areas. These fans will be able to pre-order lower-level sideline seating for $50, lower-level corner seating for $30 and lower end seating behind the baskets for $15 for the game at INTRUST Bank Arena. Upper level tickets behind the baskets are also available at just $12 each.

Kansas State continues to possess one of the top home atmospheres in the country as the Wildcats are one of 22 schools nationally to have played in front of an average of more than 12,000 fans for five consecutive seasons. The school has won more than 75 percent of its games in Bramlage Coliseum's 27-year history, including a 127-23 (.847) record over the past nine seasons at home and a 69-5 (.932) mark in non-conference play.

The Wildcats will return seven lettermen, including four players with starting experience, in 2015-16 to go with the influx of at least six newcomers, including Mr. Kansas Basketball Dean Wade (St. John, Kansas/St. John) and NJCAA First Team All-American Carlbe Ervin II (Oklahoma City, Oklahoma/Connors State College). Senior guard Justin Edwards (6.3 ppg., 3.3 rpg.) is the team's top returner in both scoring and steals (37), while junior forward Wesley Iwundu (5.8 ppg., 3.5 rpg.) is the leading returner in rebounding (108), assists (61), blocks (20) and minutes (780).
