The Wildcats will officially open the 2010-11 season by playing James Madison on Friday, Nov. 12, at Bramlage Coliseum before entertaining Presbyterian on Thursday, Nov. 18.  This will be the school’s first-ever meeting with both James Madison and Presbyterian on the hardwood.  K-State is 6-2 all-time against teams from the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) and a perfect 5-0 against the Big South.

The James Madison Dukes, who posted a 13-20 overall record and 4-14 mark in the Colonial in 2009-10, return four starters and 11 lettermen, including the league’s leader in both scoring and rebounding, Denzel Bowles (20.8 ppg. and 9.2 rpg.).  In its third year at the Division I level, the Presbyterian Blue Hose return 10 players from a squad that tallied a 5-26 overall record and a 2-16 mark in the Big South last season.
