MANHATTAN, Kan. – Tickets for the Wichita Wildcat Classic have been a quick sell, as fewer than 2,000 tickets remain for Kansas State’s matchup with former head coach Bob Huggins and West Virginia set for Thursday, Dec. 8 at INTRUST Bank Arena.

All remaining tickets are in the upper level of the arena and are priced at $18 each.  Fans should purchase these seats via the INTRUST Bank Arena box office at www.selectaseat.com or by calling (316) 755.SEAT.

Approximately 4,000 tickets were pre-sold to Ahearn Fund members and men’s basketball season ticket holders through the K-State Athletic Ticket Office between June and last week.  Those tickets will be assigned and mailed in the next two weeks.

The contest is set for an 8 p.m. CT tipoff at the 15,194-seat INTRUST Bank Arena and will be broadcast on ESPN2.  It will be just the third men’s college basketball game in the building and the Wildcats’ first regular-season non-conference neutral site game in Wichita.

Tickets are still available for the Hy-Vee Wildcat Classic with Alabama set for Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Sprint Center.  The contest, which matches K-State head coach Frank Martin against longtime friend and current Alabama coach Anthony Grant, is set for a 9 p.m. CT tipoff on ESPNU.

Tickets for the Classic are priced at $50 for lower-level sideline seating, $30 behind the baskets, $20 for the upper level sidelines and $10 each behind the baskets in the upper level of Sprint Center.  Fans can purchase these tickets through all Ticketmaster outlets, by calling (800) 745.3000 or online at www.Ticketmaster.com, or through the K-State Athletic Ticket Office , by calling (800) 221-CATS or online at www.kstatesports.com.

The game with Alabama marks the fifth consecutive year that the Wildcats will play a non-conference game at the 18,897-seat Sprint Center, which will also host the squad for the 2012 Phillips 66 Big 12 Championships, March 7-10.

Information regarding ticket purchase procedures for K-State students for both games will be announced at a later date.
