Single-Game Non-Conference Tickets On Sale

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Single-game tickets for Kansas State's 10 non-conference men's basketball games are now on sale, athletics officials announced Tuesday.

Fans may purchase tickets to any of the first seven home games for $20 for either bench or Cat Cushion seating and $30 for chairback seating.  These include contests against Pittsburg State (Nov. 8), Loyola Chicago (Nov. 13), Western Illinois (Nov. 15), Fort Hays State (Dec. 1), Washington State (Dec. 5) and Xavier (Dec. 8).

The remaining three non-conference home games are priced at $15 for bench, Cat Cushion and student general admission seating and $25 for chairback seating.  These contests, which fall during the Holiday break for K-State students, include Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 21), Cleveland State (Dec. 29) and South Dakota (Jan. 3).

Season ticket sales remain strong with less than 500 remaining.  Season tickets start at $320 for bench seating in Bramlage Coliseum, while Cat Cushion and chairback seating is priced at $350 and $390, respectively.  Recent K-State graduates may take advantage of the Young Alumni ticket package, which is available for only $160 for those who received their undergraduate degree since December 2004.

The most convenient way to order tickets is online at www.k-statesports.com.  Tickets may also be purchased in person at the K-State Athletic Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum or by calling toll-free, (800) 221.CATS.

The Wildcats tip off the season against Pittsburg State at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 8, with their only exhibition game at Bramlage Coliseum.  The regular season opens on Friday, Nov. 13 when the squad plays host to Loyola Chicago at 7 p.m.   The contest opens a Wildcat Weekend during which K-State's men's and women's basketball, football and volleyball teams will all be in action.
