Non-Conference Tickets On Sale Monday

The Wildcats will hold an open scrimmage on Saturday from 12:30-1:15 p.m. prior to the OU football game.

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Non-conference single-game tickets for the 2011-12 Kansas State men's basketball season will go on sale to the public on Monday, Oct. 31.

These tickets are priced at $30 for chairback and cushion seats and $20 each for bench seating.  The seven-game non-conference schedule tips off on Sunday, Nov. 6 in exhibition game against Fort Hays State and includes the first five games of the season.  The season officially starts on Friday, Nov. 11 against Charleston Southern and continues with home games against Loyola Chicago on Monday, Nov. 14, Maryland-Eastern Shore on Tuesday, Nov. 22 and George Washington on Thursday, Dec. 1. 

General admission tickets for the New Year's Eve contest with Howard are $20, while four or more GA tickets can be purchased for $15 each with a group rate of $10 each for 12 or more tickets.

A limited number of season ticket locations remain for the 2011-12 season.  These tickets are located in sections 3, 4, 8 and 9 and priced between $445 and $495 each and require an Ahearn Fund donation of $650 or $975 per seat.
A five-game mini-plan is currently on sale to men's basketball season ticket holders and Ahearn Fund donors.  Tickets are priced at $305 each and include two non-conference home games, a conference weeknight game, a conference weekend game and the game with Kansas on Feb. 13.  To become and Ahearn Fund member, fans are encouraged to visit the new Ahearn Fund website at

K-State returns seven lettermen, including five with starting experience, from a squad that posted a 23-11 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the third time in four seasons in 2010-11.  The Wildcats have posted five consecutive 20-win seasons as well as five straight postseason appearances for the first time in school history.  Head coach Frank Martin enters the 2011-12 season just five wins short of 100 for his career.

Fans can catch their first glimpse of 2011-12 Wildcats on Saturday with a public scrimmage set from 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Bramlage Coliseum prior to the Oklahoma football game.  Admission is free, but fans are encouraged to bring a "Welcome Back" donation item for the USO at Fort Riley.  These items include individually-wrapped, non-perishable snacks, wash cloths and individually-wrapped toothbrushes and will be used to create homecoming kits.  There will be collection boxes located inside the gates near the entrances for fans to drop-off their items.       

Ticket information for conference home games will be announced at a later date.  Single-game tickets for the Kansas game on Monday, Feb. 13 are not expected to be available to the public.
