Free MBB Student Tickets Available

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State's undefeated mark at home so far this men's basketball season is a testament to the passion of the student body and this holiday season the K-State Athletics Department and Student Governing Association is rewarding those who have shown their support.

Athletics and SGA officials have announced that any student who currently owns men's basketball season tickets can receive free admission to each of the three home men's basketball games over the holiday break - Arkansas-Pine Bluff on December 21, Cleveland State on December 29 and South Dakota on January 3. The Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Cleveland State games will tip at 7 p.m., while the matchup with South Dakota is set for 12 p.m.

"We are pleased to announce that SGA and the athletics department have decided to offer free admission for our student season ticket holders during the holidays," K-State Student Body President Dalton Henry said. "This will provide yet another great opportunity for our students to come out and support our nationally-ranked basketball team."

To receive their free ticket, student season ticket holders must present a current student ID at any Bramlage Coliseum ticket window, which opens one hour prior to tip-off on game day.

Students are also encouraged to invite all friends and family to the games as $15 general admission tickets are also available for purchase during the holidays.

"The atmosphere so far this season at Bramlage has been tremendous," said Athletics Director John Currie. "Our student-athletes and coaches are very appreciative of the homecourt advantage that our students have helped establish, and we, along with SGA, feel it is important to provide them, along with their friends and families, with the opportunity to keep Bramlage packed during these games over the holidays."

The 17th-ranked Wildcats, currently 9-1 on the season, will take on Alabama Saturday night in Mobile, Ala. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. and the game can be seen on Cox Cable channel 98.
