Huggins to appear at Little Apple New Year's Eve

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State men’s basketball coach Bob Huggins will appear at the Little Apple New Year’s Eve Celebration and Ball Drop on Sunday evening.

 

The New Year’s celebration is a Times Square-style street party complete with a count down and ball drop from atop Varney’s Book Store in historic Aggieville in downtown Manhattan.  This year’s event will culminate a weeklong fun, food, shopping, party atmosphere throughout the area.  Before midnight thousands converge on Aggieville for an outdoor stage show and dancing in the street.  For more information on the event, please link to http://www.littleapplenewyears.com/.

 

Winners of six consecutive games, including the championship of the Findlay Toyota Las Vegas Holiday Classic, Kansas State (10-3) hits the road for Cincinnati, Ohio, on Monday where the Wildcats will face Xavier (9-4) on Wednesday, Jan. 3 at U.S. Bank Arena at 7 p.m.  The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN2.
