Signing Day Event Sold Out

MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State Athletics Department has announced that the third annual Signing Day with Head Coach Ron Prince on Wednesday, Feb. 6, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. is sold out.

The event, which will be held inside the Vanier Football Complex, will be hosted by coach Prince, who will provide commentary on the Wildcats’ 2008 recruiting class and answer questions regarding the class. Recruiting coordinator and linebackers coach Matt Wallerstedt will also conduct a player-by-player review of the class, which will feature video clips of each of the new Wildcats.

Included in the ticket price is a meal, which will feature such tailgating favorites as hamburgers and hotdogs grilled on the Vanier Complex deck overlooking the field. A cash bar will also be available in the Big 8 room of the Vanier Complex, while guided tours of the locker room, weight room and team room will also be available during the social hour of the event.

The presentation of the class will be held inside the team meeting room with audio and video available in the Big 8 Room and the players’ lounge. Video only will also be displayed on the south end zone video board of the stadium due to limited seating in the team room.

Fans who purchased Signing Day tickets in advance, who do not have basketball season tickets or parking, will be allowed to park free of charge in the Vanier Complex or the east side Sports Complex parking lot.

For students planning to attend the men’s basketball game, scheduled for 7 p.m., the bottom of section 21 will be reserved until 15 minutes prior to tip-off.
