2014 Football Ticket Options Announced
Fans will again be offered a variety of choices for season and single-game tickets in 2014 for a slate that includes seven games in Bill Snyder Family Stadium, including matchups with Auburn, Texas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and KU. The Wildcats' 12-game slate includes six opponents who were bowl eligible in 2013, four of which will visit Bill Snyder Family Stadium.Public season bench seating in Bill Snyder Family Stadium is priced at $320 again this season, a cost of $46 per game, while chairback seating remains at $355 or $51 per game. Prices for K-State faculty/staff are $255 for bench and $285 for chairback - a cost of $36 and $41 per game, respectively. A Young Alumni ticket package is available at only $200 for K-Staters who received their undergraduate degree since December 2009.
"On the heels of 13 straight sellouts at Bill Snyder Family Stadium and an exciting finish to the 2013 season which culminated with a bowl win over college football's winningest program, we are excited for the 2014 football season," Athletics Director John Currie said. "With seven home games in 2014, which includes a special Thursday night matchup with SEC Champion and BCS National Championship runner-up Auburn, it is important to continue to provide our fans with different price levels and options and ensure that Bill Snyder Family Stadium is filled each home weekend again this fall."
Fans ordering their season tickets may again take advantage of a payment plan option at no extra cost. Those who renew before March 28 can elect to split the cost into five equal payments or four equal installments if received by April 25.
Anticipated locations available to new season ticket holders in May will include seating not renewed by the April 25 deadline in premium bench sections along the sidelines of the lower level, bench sections 9 through 20 in the south end zone, as well as sections 420 through 430 in the east View Level. With another anticipated season ticket sell-out, fulfillment of new orders cannot be guaranteed. The K-State Ticket Office will contact fans and provide a full refund to those whose ticket order cannot be accommodated.
Back again in 2014 are several single-game promotions that will continue to provide fans even more flexibility in attending games. Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public online at k-statesports.com beginning June 11 and will feature numerous options and price levels, beginning with the sixth-annual K-State Family Reunion against Stephen F. Austin. Premium bench seating will be priced at $45 for both the Stephen F. Austin game and UTEP games, while bench seats are $35. A four-pack to the SFA and UTEP games is also available for $80.
A limited number of $15 home opener family reunion tickets (bench), available only to previous K-State ticket purchasers, faculty and staff or alumni, will be available for one day only on June 11 at k-statesports.com.
Tickets for the Texas Tech and Oklahoma State games are priced at $75 (premium bench) and $65 (bench), while a four-pack to either game is also available for just $125. Fans can also order a combo package for $120 which includes a ticket to three games, choosing from the SFA or UTEP matchup, plus either the Texas Tech or Oklahoma State game, and either the Texas or KU game.
Special rates, which start as low as $15 per ticket for the SFA and UTEP games, are also available for groups of 20 or more and can be ordered beginning June 16. A group rate of $30 per ticket is also available for the Texas Tech and Oklahoma State games and for $40 per ticket for the Texas and KU games. A $40 ticket to the Homecoming game against Texas is also available to all K-State Alumni Association members if purchased by October 1.
New for 2014 is a "Wildcat Pricing" model for key games against Auburn, Texas and KU, should any single-game premium bench tickets remain available after season ticket sales conclude. This new groundbreaking concept will start with remaining reserved premium bench seats priced at $225 per ticket. Each week that any of these tickets remain available, the price will drop $25 until all remaining seats are sold. It is important to note that every fan who purchases a "Wildcat Pricing" ticket will pay the same lowest price. So if a fan bought the ticket at $225 during the first week, and the final lowest price when all tickets were sold is $125, then that fan would be refunded $100 from the original purchase. All premium seats available in this option, which are located in sections 2-9 and 20-23, will go no lower than $100 per ticket.
"Utilizing this new reverse-auction concept will reward fans who purchase tickets early in the process and also permits fans to purchase at the price point that makes the most sense for their budget," said Scott Garrett, Associate AD for Ticketing and Fan Strategies. "With every fan paying the same low price in the end, purchasing tickets early will guarantee those fans access to the best seats available in Bill Snyder Family Stadium."
Bench seats for these three games are priced at $70 for Texas and KU and $85 for Auburn.
Following the K-State Family Reunion against Stephen F. Austin, which will also include a postgame fireworks show, annual promotional activities in 2014 include Harley Day on September 18 (Auburn), University Family Day and Band Day on September 27 (UTEP), Fort Riley Day on October 4 (Texas Tech), Homecoming on October 25 (Texas), Cats for Cans on November 1 (Oklahoma State) and Senior Day on November 29 (KU).
Also, the 2014 Purple/White spring game is set for 1:10 p.m. on April 26 with tickets going on sale April 1. All seats are $5 and may be purchased online or at the K-State Athletics Ticket Office. All fans who order or renew their season tickets by Friday, March 28, will receive two free tickets per account to the spring game.

K-State returns 12 starters from last season and a total of eight players that earned All-Big 12 Conference accolades a year ago, including two All-Americans in Tyler Lockett and Ryan Mueller. The Wildcats, led by 2011 and 2012 National Coach of the Year Bill Snyder, will begin spring practice April 2.
