2010 Football Ticket Options Announced

MANHATTAN, Kan. - For the first time, the Kansas State Athletics Department is offering a full menu of ticket options for the 2010 football season highlighted by unchanged season ticket prices and a new variety of mini-packages and single-game choices for one of the most exciting home football schedules in recent memory.

"No one has a greater appreciation for our fans and what they have meant to our program than I do," said head coach Bill Snyder. "Their response last year with a school record 50,750 for the home opener and the second-highest total ever for the first two home games of a season was tremendous. We are making progress, knowing it will take a genuine team effort from the Kansas State family: our players, coaches, support staff, administration, faculty and above all, our fan support base."

K-State is holding steady on the cost of tickets as public season bench seating in Bill Snyder Family Stadium remains priced at $300 and chairback seating $335, the same price levels that have been in place since the 2006 season. Prices for K-State faculty/staff are $241 for bench and $268 for chairback.

"As part of our commitment to having the best fan experience in the Big 12, we wanted to offer price levels and options to fit every budget and family schedule," Athletics Director John Currie said. "The six home games provide our fans with the opportunity to support the efforts of our student-athletes as well as be a part of the excitement this coming football season."

Those interested in purchasing new season tickets can do so in person at the Athletics Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum, by calling 1-800-221-CATS or here online at www.k-statesports.com. Seating location and allocation will be determined after all renewal orders and upgrade requests from current season-holders have been processed.

Fans renewing their season tickets may again take advantage of a payment plan option at no extra cost. Those who renew before March 30 can elect to split the cost into five equal payments, which will be processed on March 30, April 30, June 1, June 30 and July 30. If renewal information is received after March 30, the total will be billed in four equal installments on April 30, June 1, June 30 and July 30.

A Young Alumni ticket package is available at only $180 for K-State graduates who received their undergraduate degree since December 2006, while a four-pack season ticket option in the north end zone is just $599, a savings of more than $200 from a year ago if purchased prior to April 30. A single-season ticket in the north end zone is also available for just $199.

Fans that purchased the K-State Pledge season tickets last season and attended at least five of the six home games will receive the same ticket location and $99 price for the 2010 season.

New for 2010 are several mini-packages that will provide even more options for fans. A special K-State Alumni Association package is available to members for $120 and includes one bowl/sideline level ticket to both the UCLA and Texas games. Only 2,000 of these packages are available and will be on sale from June 1-11.

Also, fans can choose a combo package for $99 which includes one ticket to either the Nebraska or Texas game plus one ticket to either the Missouri State or Central Florida contest. Only 750 of these packages are available from June 1-11.

Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning June 14 and will feature numerous options and price levels, beginning with the second-annual K-State Family Reunion against UCLA. Bowl/sideline level seating will be priced at $55 for the UCLA and Oklahoma State contests, while general admission and view level seats are $35.

Tickets for the Missouri State and Central Florida games are priced at $35 (bowl/sideline) and $20 (GA/view level), while fans can also receive $10 off their Missouri State ticket with proof of purchase from a UCLA game ticket.

All seats for the Nebraska and Texas games are priced at $75.  Season ticket-holders can purchase a ticket to the Texas game for just $60 if ordered prior to April 30.

Other single-game four-pack options and group discounts are also available for the UCLA, Missouri State, Central Florida and Oklahoma State contests.

Tickets to the Iowa State game at Arrowhead, which are not part of the season ticket package, will be available to season ticket holders only until April 30 before they go on sale to the general public.

Also, the 2010 Purple/White spring game is set for April 24 with tickets going on sale April 1. All seats are $5 and may be purchased online or at the K-State Athletics Ticket Office.
