Football to Host Summer Camps

MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State head football coach Bill Snyder and the Wildcat coaching staff will host five football camps during the summer months for players of all ages.

Kicking off the summer events will be the Kicking Camp 1 session from June 6-7 for high school players, while the 7-on-7 and 5-on-5 Shootout for high school teams will begin on June 9. The following day, June 10, will be the annual Youth Camp for those players in grades 1-8.

Also beginning on June 10 and running through June 12 will be the High School Fundamental Camp for 9th-12th graders, while Kicking Camp II will close out the summer camps on June 13-14.

Kansas State Football Camps provide instruction and are open to any and all entrants, limited by number, age, grade level, and/or gender.

K-State, which opens spring practice April 4, returns eight starters on offense, six on defense and both kickers from its 10-3 squad that advanced to the AT&T Cotton Bowl Classic in 2011. The Wildcats will be led by All-America candidates Collin Klein (QB) and Arthur Brown (LB), while 2011 Walter Camp All-Americans Nigel Malone (DB) and Tyler Lockett (KR/WR) also return.
K-State opens the 2012 season September 1 with a home game against Missouri State. Season tickets for the seven-game home schedule remain available in sideline and south end zone seating of the lower bowl for $320 each. .
