K-State Announces Gridiron Bash Refund Policy

MANHATTAN, Kan. The Kansas State Athletics Department received word on Monday from MSL Sports and Entertainment that the 2008 Gridiron Bash has been postponed nationwide for this spring, including the April 18 Goo Goo Dolls concert at Bill Snyder Family Stadium.


Gridiron Bash, which was to feature concerts, pep rallies and fan competitions, was slated to take place on 16 campuses across the nation during spring practice.


Those who purchased Goo Goo Dolls tickets online at www.k-statesports.com will either receive an email notification or be contacted directly with refund instructions from the K-State ticket office. All credit card purchases will be automatically refunded to the same card used for the purchase. Those desiring a refund who purchased Goo Goo Dolls tickets in person at the Kansas State Athletics Ticket Office must return the tickets in person to the ticket office with proof of purchase.

Numerous events will be held in or around Bill Snyder Family Stadium on April 17-19 to celebrate K-State’s Spring Fan Fest, including a three-day Ottaway carnival beginning Thursday, April 17, in the east parking lot of the stadium. On Friday, April 18, the annual Powercat Auction will be held in Bramlage Coliseum. And on Saturday, April 19 leading up to the spring football game, there will be a barbecue contest in Cat Town, Willie’s Fun Zone in the indoor football complex and the All-University Open House.  The Purple-White game will kick at 6:30 p.m., and will be followed by an autograph session on the playing field.
