Spring Game to Air on 12 Stations

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State’s 2008 spring football game on Saturday, April 19, will be broadcast live on radio over 12 stations across the state of Kansas and in the Kansas City Metro area, K-State Sports Network officials announced Wednesday.

 

A special Purple-White pre-game show will kick off the broadcast at 6:15 p.m. Game time is slated for 6:30 p.m.

 

The voice of the Wildcats, Wyatt Thompson, and former K-State quarterback Stan Weber will call the action with Matt Walters providing updates from the sidelines. Head football coach Ron Prince will also take part in the broadcast for the third straight year as a color analyst during the first half. Newly-appointed athletics director Bob Krause is also slated to make an appearance on the broadcast during second-half action.
