Football Camps Available in June

MANHATTAN, Kan. Kansas State head football coach Ron Prince and the Wildcats’ coaching staff will host several youth football camps in late June.

The action gets underway on Saturday, June 21, with a 7-on-7 passing camp specifically designed for high school teams. The registration fee for the tournament is $250 per team. A one-day youth camp for players in grades 1-8 follows on June 22. The fee for enrolling in the youth camp is $40 and players will be instructed in three different age categories: grades 1-3; grades 4-6; and grades 7-8.

The multi-day Ron Prince Football Camp for high school age players runs from June 22-25 and is the final camp offered. The Ron Prince Football Camp features intensive instruction from the entire coaching staff as well as some of the state’s leading high school coaches. Campers will be placed in groups based upon age and ability and will receive individual coaching on the fundamentals and techniques of their positions. Small group work and competitive games will also be included in the camp.

Both a resident plan, which entitles campers to on-campus housing for the duration of the Ron Prince Football Camp, and a commuter plan are available. The resident plan includes room, board and all meals at a cost of $295. The commuter plan includes a daily lunch and runs $235.
