Arthur Brown

May 11, 2011

MANHATTAN, Kan. - Kansas State linebacker Arthur Brown was one of three linebackers and 24 total players named to the 2011 All-Spring Team, released today by senior writer Tom Dienhart.

A junior from Wichita, Brown was one of four players from the Big 12 Conference named to the list following a very productive spring, which concluded with a 14-tackle performance in the annual Purple-White spring game.

Brown transferred to K-State last season from the University of Miami and sat out the 2010 season but participated in workouts as a member of the scout team. Entering his first year on the playing field, Brown was chosen by his teammates to serve as both a team captain and player representative for 2011.

K-State, coming off a berth in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, opens the 2011 season on September 3 as it hosts Eastern Kentucky for the third annual K-State Family Reunion. Season tickets are currently on sale for as little as $21 per game. Visit for more details including all ticket prices and options for an exciting seven-game home schedule.
